​COVID-FEE ON FERRY CONNECTIONS FINLAND - SWEDEN​

Due to the lack of passengers in Scandinavian ferry traffic, caused by COVID-19 restrictions, the ferry line have with very short notice (Friday 25-09-2020) increased their prices for cargo units. Reason for high er cargo prices is aim to keep the ferries sailing with less passengers, and cover the losses and expenses more by cargo units. This will secure the needed ferry sailings and makes possible to keep your cargo moving, even in case of less passengers.

Due to this increase in ferry prices, HCS is forced to implement a temporary COVID-fee in Scandinavian transportations, where a ferry connection between Finland and Sweden is used.

Mentioned COVID-fee will be 200EUR/295EUR (13,6m/21m unit) per full trailer unit, or 15% on top of LTL prices (Less than Trailer Load), starting from 01.10.2020.

Above mentioned fee will be temporary, due to the exceptional situation, completely out of our control to manage, and will be vaiwed as soon as ferry lines return into normal scenario and pricing.
