What is Ecovadis ESG rating​

EcoVadis is a global company that provides assessments of corporate sustainability performance. They offer a platform that helps businesses evaluate the sustainability performance of their suppliers and themselves using a scorecard methodology.

EcoVadis assesses companies in four main areas:

1. Environment:: This evaluates the company's environmental policies, management, and practices, including topics such as energy consumption, waste management, pollution control, and resource use.
   
2. Labor and Human Rights: This area covers the company's practices and policies related to working conditions, labor rights, workplace health and safety, and respect for human rights.
   
3. Ethics: The assessment examines the company's ethical behavior, including anti-corruption, responsible marketing, data protection, and fair competition.
   
4. Sustainable Procurement: This focuses on the company's policies and practices related to selecting and managing suppliers, particularly regarding environmental and social issues.

EcoVadis' assessments are based on a range of international standards and frameworks, including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and ISO 26000. The results provide companies with an overview of their sustainability performance and help them identify areas for improvement.​
